The University of Twente is located in between Enschede and Hengelo and is easily accessible by public transport (train and bus) and car.

Once you are on the campus of the university, you can use the map to find your way.
Car
From the A1 motorway, take the A35 motorway towards Enschede. Then take exit 26 Enschede-West/Universiteit. Follow the signs Universiteit or the instructions below.
At the end of the exit, continue onto Westerval. Take the N18 exit toward Usselo. Keep left at the fork to continue onto Afinkstraat. After 300 metres, turn left onto Afinkstraat. Continue onto Auke Vleerstraat and after 3 km onto Drienerlolaan.
There are plenty of parking opportunities on campus and almost all of them are free. Only the parking area next to the Hotel is reserved for guests of the Drienerburght hotel. See the map for an overview of the parking areas.
Public Transport
Train
Take a train to Hengelo, Enschede or Enschede Drienerlo. After that, follow the bus instructions below.
From Hengelo railway station take either bus 8to Universiteit, or bus 9 to Enschede.
From Enschede railway station take either bus 1 to Universiteit, bus 8 to Hengelo Noord, or bus 9 to Hengelo.
From Enschede Kennispark railway station take bus 1 to Universiteit, or walk to the campus.
Note that on Saturday and Sunday there are fewer buses available and in case of a football match, they don’t run on the campus. For more information, you can consult 9292.nl/en.

If you arrive from Drienerlolaan, continue until you arrive at the fork, then turn right (Boerderijweg). Take the first to the left (De Zul) and then left again (Veldmaat). You will arrive at a parking area next to the Vrijhof.
